Decommissioning of Mohave Generating Station
Project Overview: CST Environmental, LP, is under contract with Southern California Edison to decommission the Mohave Generating Station (MOGS) in Laughlin, Nevada . MOGS is a 1580 MW coal fired electric power generation facility situated on 3,000 acres located adjacent to the Colorado River. The facility contains ten large coal storage ponds, evaporation ponds, and a 300-acre on site landfill. Average pond size 40 Acres in area and 12-15’ deep.
CST Solutions: Multi-disciplined team was provided to address the different facets of project with a 24 month completion schedule.
